Install the GINA or Credential Provider

You can install the GINA or the Credential Provider on any Windows system from which a user accesses an Identity Manager enviroment.

To install the GINA or the Credential Provider

1. Locate the Identity Manager Provisioning Components download or other installation media.
2. Start the Product Explorer.
3. Choose Install Products, Infrastructure.
4. Choose one of the following:
   • Provisioning GINA for Windows (for Windows 2000, 2003, and XP systems)
   • Provisioning Credential Provider for Windows Vista (for Windows Vista or 2008 systems)
5. Follow the wizard prompts to answer the questions.
6. Once this component is installed, configure it using the appropriate procedure:
   • Configure GINA
   • Configure the Credential Provider
