Map Endpoint Attributes
To manage an endpoint account attribute with Reverse Synchronization, first map the account attribute.
To map endpoint attributes for Reverse Synchronization
- In the Provisioning Manager, do the following:
- Click Endpoints.
- Search on endpoint type and double-click the endpoint type you want to manage.
- Go to the Attribute Mapping tab.
- Check Use custom settings.
- Click Add to add a new custom attribute.
- Select an available custom attribute. For example, use CustomField 10 if it is not mapped to another user attribute in your environment.
- Map the custom attribute to the account attribute you want to manage.
- Click Ok.
- Repeat Steps e through g to add mappings between all account attributes required and the custom attribute selected.
Use the same custom attribute (CustomField 10 in our example) for all attributes you want to manage.
- Click OK.
- Run Explore on the endpoints without Correlation.
- Go to Option Pack, Account Management and run Initialize Endpoint Accounts.
This repopulates the user store attributes with the new endpoint attribute data.
