Map Endpoint Attributes

To manage an endpoint account attribute with Reverse Synchronization, first map the account attribute.

To map endpoint attributes for Reverse Synchronization

  1. In the Provisioning Manager, do the following:
    1. Click Endpoints.
    2. Search on endpoint type and double-click the endpoint type you want to manage.
    3. Go to the Attribute Mapping tab.
    4. Check Use custom settings.
    5. Click Add to add a new custom attribute.
    6. Select an available custom attribute. For example, use CustomField 10 if it is not mapped to another user attribute in your environment.
    7. Map the custom attribute to the account attribute you want to manage.
    8. Click Ok.
    9. Repeat Steps e through g to add mappings between all account attributes required and the custom attribute selected.

Use the same custom attribute (CustomField 10 in our example) for all attributes you want to manage.

    10. Click OK.
    11. Run Explore on the endpoints without Correlation.
  2. Go to Option Pack, Account Management and run Initialize Endpoint Accounts.

This repopulates the user store attributes with the new endpoint attribute data.
