Option Pack › Scheduled Reverse Synchronization › Attribute Policy Management › Create Reverse Synchronization Attribute Policies
Create Reverse Synchronization Attribute Policies
To create an attribute policy
- Under Reverse Synchronization, define a new attribute policy.
- Enter the following parameters:
- Endpoint Type
- Endpoint
- Attribute—mandatory and case sensitive, must be physical name
- Priority
The values can be wildcards, such as Endpoint=*.
- Select one of the following Actions:
- Accept changes
- Reject changes—the value stored in the user profile (as it is shown in the Manage User Account task in Identity Manager) overrides the value in the endpoint.
- Send to business engine processing—(sent to Identity Manager) the value triggers a relevant workflow process, based on the defined process for this attribute for a regular (non-Reverse Synchronization) request. For example, Active Directory group grp1 is defined to be approved by the user's manager when a user requests this group from the Manage Active Directory Accounts task. If there is a discrepancy due to grp1 being added to the user manually, the Send to business engine processing option forces the user's manager to approve this value.
- Click Save.
