Fields Tab

This tab lets you view the fields contained in the task. The fields are the attributes defined on the associated profile screen.

This tab contains the following fields:

• Field

  The name of the field.

• Access

  The privilege level for the field.

  Note: If a field is required by the user store, choose a Required setting. Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk (*) in the screen.

  The Access column can contain the following values:

  • Read

    An administrator can view but not modify the field.

  • Read/Write

    An administrator can see the current value of the field (if one exists), and can enter a value for the field.

  • Read/Write Required

    A required field, but otherwise functions as the Read/Write setting.

  • Write

    An administrator cannot see the current value of the field (if there is one), but can enter a value.

    For example, an administrator can change a user's password, but cannot view the user's current password.

  • Write Required

    A required field, but otherwise functions as the Write setting.

• Logical Attribute Handler

  The name of an associated logical attribute handler (if any).
